Hover over Romans 1:20-22 for proof of God's existence, and over Matthew 5:27-28 for Judgment Day’s perfect standard. Then hover over John 3:16-18 for what God did, and over Acts 17:30-31 for what to do.

A Fork in the Road...

"Ray Comfort said...'Evolution has nothing to do with science. It's a ridiculous theory that cannot be backed up with anything but conjecture.' Just like Christianity and all religions." Darkknight56

While I can’t speak for "religion," I can speak for Christianity. It isn’t like the theory of evolution, which was birthed by Darwin (it had been in gestation for many years), and kept alive by nothing but the eager imaginations of godless men. God Himself backs it up Christianity with His power. If you want to know God, you can. But you must come on His terms, not your own.

If you didn’t believe in electricity, all I need do to convince you that it exists is give you a fork and tell you to stick it into a live electrical socket. As the power flows through your quivering body, you won't simply say that you "believe" it exists. You will "know."

Such is the reality of your subjective experience, but the subjectivity of your shocking experience isn't a negative, it's a positive. All of life's experiences are subjective, and some can fool our senses. But the experience of the new birth is far more real than an electric stock, and it confirms the reality of what happens after death.

It is because the new birth introduced me to God that I know that there is an afterlife, as does every person who has turned from his or her sins and surrendered to Jesus Christ.

So you have a fork in the road in front of you. You have a choice to make when it comes to the most important of issues. Pick the fork up and stick it into the outlet, and you will get the shock of your life. Repent and trust in Jesus, and when the power flows you will no longer be in the dark, Darkknight.
