The Power of Humor

Someone wrote to me recently and asked how they could best present the subject of biblical evangelism to a group at their church. I said that one of most effective ways to hold the attention of your hearers, is to use a little humor here and there. It’s kind of like a flash of lightning during a dark night. It wakes people up and they tend to wait for the next one. I told him that if he wasn’t the humorous type, to read a couple of one-liners from out “The World’s Best One-liners” tract. He did, and said that it went over very well.
