It is easy to prove the reality of the existence of Hell to a “reasoning” person. However, this can’t be done when a person denies that which is axiomatic. When a human being denies God’s existence, he stands on his own oxygen hose. In his futile effort to break free from moral accountability, he cuts himself off from the very thing that can allow him to keep the precious life he so loves--his God-given power of reason. Charles Spurgeon called such a person, a “learned fool.”
