"From Gk. atheos 'to deny the gods, godless,' from a- 'without' + theos 'a god.' Nowhere in the definition of atheist does it say, '100% that God does not exist.' That is something you religious folks love to add. I am an Atheist; I do not worship or believe in ANY God." caveman73
Thanks for the definition. It’s good when a clear definition comes from an atheist. You are without a God. We are with God.
What we are saying is very simple. God is life. He is the Source and the Giver of all life. So if you are without Him, you will perish. Remember the verse:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3;16, italics added).
We violated God’s Law and therefore brought upon ourselves the death penalty--in this life and in the next. But God is rich in mercy and willing to forgive all who repent and trust in Jesus Christ. Our case can be dismissed.
Give up the battle. You can have God with you, instead of against you (see Ephesians 2:12).
How cool is that?
