Hover over Romans 1:20-22 for proof of God's existence, and over Matthew 5:27-28 for Judgment Day’s perfect standard. Then hover over John 3:16-18 for what God did, and over Acts 17:30-31 for what to do.

Groovy Dude...

"Ray, There is a HUGE difference between reading the Bible as an important historical document and believing that every word of the text is the inspired word of God. I actually like many passages from the Bible. I really like the Gospels. And while I do think Jesus was a real person, and a groovy dude, I don't believe he was the son of God." MollyKnits

If you don't believe that He was the Son of God, then you are stuck with the belief that Jesus was a self-deluded liar (or history's greatest deceiver) and the ultimate egotist. Jesus said that He was pre-existent. He lived in Heaven before He was born on earth. Do you believe that? He said that He was Almighty God, the Creator of all things in human form. Do you believe He was?

He said that His voice would raise all of those who had died (multiple billions), and that He would judge them for their sins. Was He speaking the truth? He warned many times that there was a very real place called "Hell," and that it had fire that would never be quenched. He said that unless you are born again, trusting in Him alone, you would end up in Hell because of your many sins. Do you think he was groovy dude when He said that?

He claimed to be the Savior of the world, Lord of the Universe, that the whole Old Testament was written about Him, and that those whose eyes saw Him and those whose ears heard what He said, were "blessed." If he wasn’t who He said He was, then billions have been deceived by Him. But not you. You think He was groovy.
