Hover over Romans 1:20-22 for proof of God's existence, and over Matthew 5:27-28 for Judgment Day’s perfect standard. Then hover over John 3:16-18 for what God did, and over Acts 17:30-31 for what to do.

This is Very Strange

There were a group of people who were born blind. One of the leaders planned to take the entire group into an area in which there was dangerous ditch that had a huge drop into fast-moving water. It was such a death-trap authorities had placed a red light front of it, warning people not to go near the crumbling edge. When the blind men were told of the light, they wouldn’t listen. They instead laughed, and mockingly said that there was no such thing as a “red” light. They became confirmed in their error when they cynically asked for a description of it. But no one could describe the color red to someone who was born blind.

Then came one of the reasons for their cynicism. One of them adamantly testified that he pretended for 19 years that "red" did exist. He even taught others about the color, and wrote songs about it. Maybe he liked being the center of attention, or maybe he did it for the money. He was totally blind, and yet he was able to fake it for all those years, which is very strange.

What's even stranger, is that these blind men then decided to meet regularly, and they became so fanatical about their belief that there’s no such thing as ”red,” that they are trying to censor anyone (including school children) from believing in it. And all this is done in the name of freedom and intelligence. Very strange.

They truly are the blind leading the blind: “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them” (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).
