The airbus A380 is the world’s largest commercial plane. The secret of flight is the lift that planes are able to get because of the wing shape. However, designers of the massive plane had a problem, in that the thinner end of each wing wasn’t able to get lift. They couldn't extend it because it would make the plane too big for most airports.
So scientists placed a camera on the back of an eagle to watch the wing in flight, and found that the bird was able to deal with the same problem, by making the feathers on the end of its wing stand almost vertical while in flight. They copied God’s design of a bird's wing (just as the Wright brother’s did 100 years earlier), and solved the A380’s problem.
