Ignorant Biker

I once knew an elderly woman who was driven to despair, because she had a loud ringing in her ear, 24 hours a day. A man once unwittingly started a motorbike in front of her and the noise was so loud, it burst her eardrum. He rode off not knowing the terrible damage he had caused to this poor woman. The modern church is like that biker. It makes a big noise over its millions of decisions for Christ. But because they unwittingly use unbiblical methods, what they are doing is deafening sinners to the true gospel. The hardest people to witness to are the tragic products of modern evangelism, those we erroneously call “Backsliders.”
