A proud man picked the emergency instructions out of the seat pocket, as he sat in a plane that was about to crash. He laughed cynically at the graphics on the cover, and said that he could have done better. As he glanced at the text, he noticed what be believed to be a spelling mistake on the front page. The “mistake” was his, but because of his belief he didn’t even bother to open its pages. Instead, he mumbled something about the airline using scare tactics, ripped up the instructions, and for some reason became angry at other passengers and tried to stop them from reading them.
