Hover over Romans 1:20-22 for proof of God's existence, and over Matthew 5:27-28 for Judgment Day’s perfect standard. Then hover over John 3:16-18 for what God did, and over Acts 17:30-31 for what to do.

Rich Men and the Kingdom of God

“Didn't Jesus say that it's impossible for a rich man to enter Heaven?”

Yes, He did. “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.’ When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, ‘Who then can be saved?’ But Jesus looked at them and said to them, ‘With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible’” (Matthew 19:23-26).

Then Scripture goes on to tell of a rich man entering the Kingdom of Heaven (see Luke 19:1). A man named Zacchaeus, whom the Scriptures say was rich, humbled himself and surrendered to Christ. Then Jesus said, “Today salvation has come to this house” (verse 9). So if you are rich, make sure that you love God more than you love your money, and hold onto it with a loose hand.
