Hover over Romans 1:20-22 for proof of God's existence, and over Matthew 5:27-28 for Judgment Day’s perfect standard. Then hover over John 3:16-18 for what God did, and over Acts 17:30-31 for what to do.

Round Peg, Square Hole

“Care to clarify: nothing is impossible for God, so He can create a rock to large He cannot lift . . . If He can only do one, He is not infinite.”

This question reveals a lack of common sense. The questioner thinks that if God couldn’t create a rock too big for Him to lift then He doesn't exist. Then again, we could ask if God could make a perfectly round peg and put it into a perfectly square hole, and make it fit perfectly. Or, could God make an egg that’s not an egg?

These are questions that are asked to divert attention away from the real issue.. But it seems that God had the atheist pegged thousands of years ago when He said, “Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you also be like him.”

One more of those dumb-sounding questions, that may not be dumb. Could God take a man who is a fool but thinks that he’s wise, and make him see that he is a fool, so that he will be wise? The answer is in 1 Corinthians 3:18.
